Today went well.

George and I went grocery shopping today. I wanted to get some of the heavier big ticket items that my OTC card covers. I still have some money on it, and now that the bigger ticket items are purchuesed for the month I've got a little extra. Who doesn't need a little extra cash? Having it makes shopping less stressful. Although, we almost got out of Walmart with George's shakes and underwear for free because the cashier almost missed them.
But, that's okay we paid for them and it's all good. All the cold food is in the fridge, and George is happy watching What I like about you, on Netflix.

I would say it would depend on what it is. Now I have the excuse of not seeing if something was missed, but if it's a big ticket item then it could look bad. They could be accused of steeling, or we could, if someone decided not to check the recpt. The wal-mart we frequent the greeters know us, so rarely-if-ever check recpts like they're supposed to. So we could've walked away with over 50 bucks worth of stuff if she hadn't noticed. I was surprised about the price, so I might've questioned it. Either way I was happy to cut down the bill and need to spend less next trip.

@Ineeddentures I wishe it was like this here, but companies here are money-hungry and a lot of the good stores failed spetacurally.

We don't get receipts checked when we go out the door here.
I would not tell a cashier if they missed anything.
Stores make huge profits on non food items so they can afford the odd mistake by a cashier who misses something

With the cost of living, I'd agree.

Yeah, kinda like here. Or we get pulled aside for steeling.
