The Man Wasn't Grateful

So while we were at the race track yesterday, I found a $5 bill on the floor. It was right at the floor at a chair at a table behind us where a man wearing shorts had been sitting.
I picked up the $5.
When the man got back to his table, I said to him, "Sir, I found this $5 at the floor by your chair and I think it's yours" He said, "Okay" - took the $5 and that was it. He didn't say "Thank you" or anything. It probably wasn't even his!
But I rest in the knowledge that I knew I had done the right thing.
My friends said my finding that winning ticket on the floor later was good karma for my having done a good deed.
