Today is the first day of China's 2026 high school college entrance examination. According to the news, over 12.9 million 18-year-old children have taken the exam this year.
I took the college entrance examination in the last century, and suddenly remembered the three years of hard work in high school. I am very grateful to myself at that time.
I cannot wish every child to be admitted to their ideal university because there are not so many universities. But I can wish every child, regardless of their exam scores, to face life positively. Many people who have changed their time do not have a college diploma.
Finally, I would like to share with you the classic quote by Irish author Samuel Beckett in "Worthward Ho":
Ever tried.
Ever failed.
No matter.
Try again.
Fail again.
Fail better.

I love the quote.. failure is part of the deal.we should learn from it and move on. The harder you fall, the higher you bounce
