Mind Control

There were times in history when producing the best and brightest was mandatory. Most recently, during the 'Cold War'. With the Soviet Union's advances, other nations strove to surpass. Many actions were taken to ensure that those born after World War II were given the best education. Regardless of their race, class, gender, their intellects were needed. There was time diets were made up of real food, that being active was mandated. Where being up to date on current events and gaining information was important. A generation of those who thought for themselves, who were difficult to control was produced. Those in power, whether communist or capitalist, socialist or democratic lost their ability to manipulate people who could think for themselves. With the end of the Cold War dumbing down was implemented. From ceasing tor stream students to turning news presentation into blah blah rather than actual information, every corner was set to prevent creating a generation easy to control Computers may have been invented to assist in intellectual ability but turned into mindless games and diversions. Artificial Intelligence was a version of Big Brother, as presented in Nineteen Eighty Four. Today, seventy years after the creation of a population where an I.Q. of 100 was average, most people today fall below 85. Easy to control, unable to think for themselves.

Mind control experiments and tactics are more common than most people think.
