Questions I'm asked

So, another question has been asked that made me have to really think closely about it. The question is:
The human species is without a doubt the most advanced form of life on earth.
I mean we are the only species that we know of. But are we more advanced then plants? More advanced then our pets or animals at the zoo?
I know there has been amazing work with chimpanzees, our pets learn new tricks that we teach them, unless your pet is a cat and then that kitty trains you, lol.

I think it depends on what humans want from things. They make a lot of changes to planted vegetables and have even done some changes to animals (like dogs and cats) over the centuries. We are at the top of the food chain so not much has been done. But researchers are looking into changing our DNA to eliminate disease and such.

I don't feel we are as a total group anymore. We are now the only animal allowing the dumbest among us to be the leader.

Whilst we might well be the most advanced species on the planet
We really do know how to ruin it, don't we?
