It’s still morning but a lot has already happened to me today. I slept early last night and turned off my phone’s Wi-Fi at 9 PM to rest. I woke up at 6 AM, which is my usual time. But when I turned my Wi-Fi back on, I saw that we were all scheduled for cleaning today. There was a 5:30 AM general cleaning schedule at the office, so I quickly changed clothes, went out, and started cleaning. My coworkers laughed at me because they thought I had already gotten up earlier, so they didn’t bother waking me up. After that, I took a shower. When I arrived at the office to start work, our chief asked me about the lechon we ordered. We’re supposed to give it to an agency because they have an event. I’m the one assigned to coordinate it, and I was able to answer all of the chief’s questions. But then a coworker suddenly interrupted our conversation and said the lechon was too small. The chief got upset and asked why it was small, even though I wasn’t the one who placed the order. I got stressed out early in the morning. I’ve just sat down at my desk now, and I’ll go out later to check on the order we placed.

That's nothing to be upset about if the budget allocated for buying that lechon is just a small amount. Given the price today for having a big one. Hopefully, it's not a very small lechon.

Honestly, we dont care about the budget. Its the size of the lechon. Actually, when we saw it after delivering in our office our chief admin said that the size is already perfect, she prefer that kind of size since if its too big sometimes the meat is raw. My officemate was just over reacting and saying its small even if she didnt see the actual size.

we do have schedule for cleaning our office since we dont have a janitor or utility. we have two scheds every week wednesday and friday. I am assigned as cleaner during friday. the cleaning will start at 5;30am and ends at 6:30am. after that we go back to our apartment or barracks which is located besides our office. I usually go back to the office at 9am but because i have a task today so I just rest for 15mins and prepare for work. our office hours starts at 8am and ends at 5pm.

@Soobinah I think they need to get a janitor Office staff would not come in at 5.30 in the morning to clean an office before a day's work

@Ineeddentures unfortunately, the nature of our work requires us to observe strict confidentiality. So we cant just let anyone enter our office.

I think that coworker should have kept their comments to themselves. I hope that didn’t stress you out too much.

That Chief of ours, once he gets angry, he'll mark you down. That's why i really put in extra effort when it comes to him. He's super kind, but you just cant make a mistake or he'll get mad. So I ended up reporting her to our Chief Admin, because she's the one who told us to buy that size of lechon.

If you weren't the one who ordered the lechon, then you shouldn't worry about it. That's up to someone else. I hope you're okay now.

Everything's okay now, even our Chief is okay, he already talked to me and even joked around with us earlier, But is was really so nervous earlier. But once he started joking around with us, I felt so much lighter.

Thanks, i just went back to the office to relax. Told my immediate boss about it and then she suddenly gave me a cup of coffee. i just felt thankful for my boss for being kind and understanding. she even asked to go for early lunch today.
