Pierce Brosnin and Morena Baccarin were great in this fun action film on Netflix. Basically, this thriller movie is about Charlie, a retired hit man and fixer for mob boss Stan. After a rival boss puts a hit on Stan and his crew Charlie has to revenge them all. He teams up with the enforcer's ex-wife and sets out tracking him. This is the sweetest, best written mob movie I have seen in years. I've seen many and this one is a good mob movie but with a romance twisted so nicely around it all. It reminded me fondly of the old vintage movies of the 40s where the two love interests of the movie never have a sex scene, may never even kiss, and yet the movie holds such a nice romantic energy its very endearing. One of the characters in this is played by James Caan. What I read about the film said that James Caan was able to finish all his scenes that he had on the movie just before his death. Isn't that so sad yet kind of cool? I do love a good movie, and this one was just that.
