Crazy what not having a couple of little pills (for over a month) can do...

Hello, myLot!
Recently (like, last Wednesday) I discovered that I hadn't been taking one of my medications--I'm guessing for over a month, and there were two pills left in the bottle, which I took. That Friday I went to a doctor I normally didn't see, and she said she'd have to contact my regular doctor to get the prescription filled. I asked if in the meantime I could have a dose's worth, as I'd been without it for so long, and they called it into the pharmacy.
I was waiting in the pharmacy, and finally I left without getting the pills because of the time, and I knew I needed to catch the bus to work.
Today I was feeling horrible, and I had one of my co-workers snap at me today because I wasn't doing things as fast as she thought I should, and I asked 1)my current boss if I could leave a little early because a former neighbor of mine came to pick up her child, and I asked if she could drive me to the pharmacy, as I received a message my prescription was ready, and I wanted to get it asap. At least, I though I had asked if she could take me to the pharmacy, as I noticed that she started heading to my apartment. I gave her the heads up, and she acted like I hadn't told her about the pharmacy (maybe it was just on my mind, who knows) but she took me there, and I said I would take the bus home. There was a long line, and I was almost to the door when one of the ladies asked the security guard to close the door because they were swamped and to only let six more people in. Of course, those six people were ahead of me, and I went to the security guard, nearly bawling,
and asked him to please let me in because I'd been without my medication for over a week.
The pharmacist took pity on me and let me come in. I was still a bit weepy as I stood behind the four or so people ahead of me, and the pharmacist saw me and said, "Don't worry, I got you." Then when I got to the window, they were only going to give me a bottle with two pills in it, and I remembered I'd asked for that when I was at the doctor Friday while I was waiting for the full prescription. They said some things to each other that I couldn't hear, and said they'd get it and I could sit down a minute.
It was less than a minute that they called me back to the window with a full bottle. I thanked the lady profusely and left the pharmacy and headed down the hall to the drinking fountain so that I could take a dose then and there. I'll take another before I go to bed. I've been without it so long I don't know how long it will take to feel "level" again, but it feels a tiny bit better just knowing I have it. The pill I was without for so long is in the larger of the two bottles above.
Crazy what not having a couple of silly little pills can do.
Thanking the Lord I didn't have more of a meltdown than I did, and for carrying me this long without them.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

It is easy to get "off" with meds. I take better care of Bob than I do of me in that department. I hope you level up soon and feel better.

It is, but the Lord got me through better than I would have myself.

Wow not good Stacey.
What were the pills for?
I know that if Yvonne didn't take one pill for a week she could really suffer from not doing so
Tomorrow will be a better day

That’s really tough. REALLY tough.
