Why oh why?

June 9th, a university student's body was found in Franklin Hall (the university dormitory). The identity of who the student was and the circumstance of his death was kept private. However, two of my friends are professors there and they told me, it was suicide. Two days before that, a 9th grader also committed suicide. Why are the young ones so fragile these days? Why do they easily take their life away. During my time when I was a student, the case of suicide was very low in this country. But now, it has significantly increased. Social media is one of the factors that seem to affect young ones. I am a parent and I am fortunate my son doesn't have any mental health issues and I'm just glad he talks to me about a lot of things including what's in his mind.
