I Haven’t Slept Well in Two Nights.

I’m so tired. :( My brain just won’t be quiet and let me sleep. Now, my blind dog needed to go outside multiple times last night, but even THAT wasn’t the problem. If I could’ve slept between her potty breaks, that would’ve been fine. But nope. I was probably awake until sometime after 4 am. The struggles of anxiety and overthinking are real. And it’s not as simple as “don’t think about it.” Yes, everyone deals with some degree of anxiety (and the overthinking that comes with it), but some of us have been diagnosed with an actual anxiety disorder. I wish I could just stop thinking, though, at least at night. Just flip the switch, shut my mind off, and go to sleep. It doesn’t keep me up all the time, but it has the last two nights, and I’m sick of it. I doubt I’m going to be as productive as I’d like today. I do have work to do, but I’m taking my time with it, so I don’t make any mistakes. I have other things to do online, but I may just take care of those tomorrow. Then, if there’s work on the board, I’ll shift my focus. We’re going to the laundromat first, unless my brother-in-law picks up the new washer tonight. He wanted to pick it up last night, but he got home from work later than intended. I’m really sorry if my post sounds mean or aggressive. That’s not my intention. I’m just tired and cranky. :( Alright, I’m going to focus on this order because I’m running to the store in a few hours. If it gets to be too much, I’ll just work on it later or tomorrow. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well and had a hard time falling asleep. I know it's not always as easy as stop thinking about it or whatever. Hopefully tonight you have a better night sleep.

I understand what you are going through..I overthink too and it affects my sleep sometimes..take your time with your work to avoid mistakes. I'm looking for a solution to my overthinking..
