Guitar Center is getting weird.

A few months ago, I wrote about a new "Lessons Lead" who was way too "in your face"
I am a music teacher at Guitar Center. The Lesson Lead's responsibility is to to greet customers coming into the store, to sign up people for lessons, and to make sure teacher's schedules are available and accurate.
When the invasive Lead was fired (we were never told why), we were rudderless for a couple of months, and then a new guy was hired.
To "cut to the chase," he has the look, but seems clueless. The schedule I get the via email the night before is often way different from what I see when I come in. I face when I get there.
When I give a free "trial Lesson," the Lead is rarely at his desk to
sign them in for lessons. He seems to be on "lunch break" most of the time. This costing me cash dollars. .
Is it time to move on?

Just now
I guess it is time to move on but if you can refer someone to be the new 'Lesson Lead', then perhaps things will get better.

It sounds like it's time to tell the store owner. No doubt it's costing them money, too.

Have you tried going to the new lead's boss and asking why he always seems to be at lunch? You probably haven't but I would.
What I'd do depends... Is he costing me money? Is it enough money to bug me or enough to make a big difference in my paycheck? If it's just bugging me, I'd talk to his boss and find out why he can't be found when you need him. If it's making a big difference in your paychecks, I'd think about finding a new job.

Did you complain? I doubt it.
