No, not getting a car sadly.
My mom's car was brought here because the check engine light came on.
So now we wait till they are done. They said an hour or so, we'll see.
After this going to the Walmart in this town, we only go to this one when we bring her car down to have an oil change, or appointment like today.
Then we'll get lunch. Well, by then probably an early dinner.
Hope your day is just as "fun" lol.
Photo is mine, one of the cars at the dealership decorated for the 4th of July.

I remember when my then used car had a check engine light that just wouldn’t go off. It was legitimately fine and had been checked out many times; it just never changed. It was funny! I was grateful it was such a good car because I’d never know otherwise when the engine was really messed up!

Oh really? Even after being checked and all it still wouldn't? My grandpa always did something to the battery and it would make the light go off lol.
But that's good that it was a good car and fine even though the light stayed on
My last car before my current one always had the light on to, we never had it checked it out though lol.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah, several mechanics tried, but it just seemed stuck.

The check engineiggt came on!?
Black sticky tape
Cover the light up.
Probably a sensor gone wonky
That could be an expensive fix.
Hope they can plug it in to diagnose what's up

My mother would obsess about it until it was fixed.
It was the o2 sensor as you already know now.
