Yesterday Morroco drew against Brazil. It was great achievement of Morocco. The result was 1 is to 1. Brazil is a superior team who won fifa world cup 5 times. In that count Morocco was the underdogs. The african teams also have stamina and skill.

Surely a surprising result. Yet it shows that one cannot take any team for granted at the highest level. Brazil would need to do an introspection as to where they can improve. Alas, Indian Football team is not even in top 100. Many years ago when it was announced that 2026 World Cup would have 48 teams, many had thought of a chance for Indian team. Anyways, let us see how this World Cup progresses.

@sathviksouvik Lionel Messi looks in top form as he scored a hattrick against Algeria. France too had a winning start. Portugal was held to a draw. England vs Croatia promised to be an exciting match but I have not checked the result. Till 15 years ago, sponsorship money in Indian Football was very less. Not so much now. And if economy or funding was a big factor, how come Haiti, Egypt, Cale Verde, Curaçao and DR Congo qualified? Well, Indian Government and sports administrators need to introspect. Also Football needs to be promoted from school stage itself.

Thats one of the best matches at the world cup so far. It seems Brazil has depreciated rapidly.
