Ebola: A Global Threat?

Many countries across the globe have put tight restrictions to people believed to be from places close to where Ebola cases have been reported. The US is in fact in the process of creating an Ebola management facility in Kenya so that any of US nationals that test positive to the virus will be brought to Kenya for specialised care (quarantine). Israel has listed many countries whose citizens have been banned from traveling to Israel. Just like Covid-19, Ebola is a dangerous ailment. So far it is posing as a global threat!

I didn’t realise that it was still around. Haven’t heard about it for months.

It doesn’t seem like a huge problem because I live where I live. In Africa, however, I understand it is a very real concern. I can’t imagine how scary it would be to be diagnosed with it.

That is scary I guess. Since I became a recluse a year ago I am doing right in not leaving my apartment.

I know the disease is a big worry. It would be awful if it became a pandemic.
