Jersey Royal potatoes and roasted chicken ……

So, the season for Jersey Royal potatoes is very short here, so I was surprised to see them on offer in a local supermarket. It was a 450g bag and the proper price should have been £2.20, however with the loyalty card the offer price was just 99p. I grabbed a bag as you can imagine. I have just had some, boiled and smothered in butter with the last of the roasted chicken. An absolutely delicious tea …… What food do you like that has a short season ?
