Two teenagers from Muscatine Iowa were riding their bicycles in their neighborhood on Tuesday morning when one of the teenagers named Gunner Skidmore. 13, saw an elderly woman who lives close by fallen on the front yard who needed help.
Kohen Chick who is also 13 years of age decided to call his mother via cell phone to inform her that he and Gunner saw a woman who was on the ground asking for help since she was unable to get off of the ground under her own power.
Kohen's mom called 911 to report the incident about the elderly woman who fell down on Monday who needed help after Kohen's mother saw what happened in person.
The elderly woman told the teens that she had fallen down around 5 o' clock in the morning as she was covered with bugs over her body.
An ambulance showed up to take the elderly woman who slipped on the grass watering her lawn in the backyard.
The elderly woman managed to roll to the front yard when the teenagers found her and called their mom for help.
An ambulance took the elderly woman to a hospital in Muscatine to be treated for her injuries in the fall in the lawn.
The time that the elderly woman was on the ground was around 16 hours before she was rescued.
Hopefully the elderly woman will make a full recovery from her injuries.

Glad she got help but come on if the houses are close together don't tell me this woman had to lay on the grass for all that time, Could she not shout, yell, call help someone must have been able to hear her/

@RasmaSandra I can understand her being there so long. I have neighbors near me but they make a point of 'minding their own business.' I never hear a peep out of them.
