list making time

Finally. I called the clinic this morning like I was told to. The receptionist said that the doctor wondered if I had spoken to a surgeon? I said no. She said she would talk to the Doc and get back to me tomorrow. More waiting. Argggg.
About an hour later the phone rang. She said she had read my report and was ready NOW to make an appointment for me on June 24th. It will be a consult. The ball is finally starting to roll. It will roll toward what nobody wants but I am up against the wall so there it is: surgery.
Questions that must be answered. Have to start a list. Beau Teak kitty gets his monthly treatment on the 23rd. It could be his last one. Have to talk to his Doc, too- if I have too long a recoop time from surgery Beau may be heading to the Summerlands. List making not if making.

Well, the consult might not lean that way, just take it one appointment at a time.

@sallypup You won't know until you have that consult appoitment. Just because one doctor revered you to a surgon, doesn't mean the surgon is going to say 'yes that's your next step'. Believe it or not, they actually try to avoid it and perform their own assments.

@kaylachan I agree with you. The mass has to go sooner than later and that hopefully will stop the issue. If it isn't removed things could start going into my bones, lungs etc. I don't like it but it has to go.

You really are a very special person Lenore.
All the turmoil you are enduring and your first thought is for Beau Teak and his treatment.
Let's hope it's not his last.
Maybe someone will reach out to you and offer to help Beau Teak if you are still in recovery from your surgery

@Ineeddentures Thank you for your kind words and feelings. Both Beau and Fred have heart issues that require meds. Beau is doing much worse than Fred. I spoke with my gardening buddy. Of course I will pay her but she has agreed to help Fred if it comes to it. (Picking up a 16 pound upset cat is not a great idea after surgery.)

@Ineeddentures Fred is robust and doesn't at first look like he has problems. Thank you for your concern
