Plans got messed up!

I planned everything I needed to do for today as early as last night. It’s really busy in the office right now and I’m the only staff in our division, so everything has to be scheduled properly. But as early as this morning, all my plans were ruined. One of our officers knew the deadline for a document today but didn’t print it yesterday, so now I’m waiting for him to sign it so I can file it in court. I also need to go around to have some documents received. I need to be back by 12nn because I have an ENT schedule for our APE that we still haven’t finished. I also have one more place I need to go to today. But because of one person, I wasn’t able to follow my schedule. I just really hope I’ll be able to comply with everything.

There are times in life when, no matter how prepared you are for the day ahead, unexpected challenges pop up and throw off your plans. What matters most is how you handle them, and not seeing delays as roadblocks to reaching your goals. They might slow you down, but if you stay focused on your target, you can still make your day unfold the way you intended.

Yes, sometimes it happens. So, i just started to do something while waiting for him. then went to the hospital for my ENT sched, unfortunately, the doctor was on travel so i need to resched it again. But all my office tasks are all done. No more pending for me for today.

@Soobinah It’s unfortunate that your scheduled doctor’s visit also came with some challenges. I guess there’s not you can do but accept that the appointment will have to be moved to another date. At least you were able to finish your pending work tasks despite needing to see your ENT.

You just adapt and adjust. Breathe and don't panic.

Just now
@Soobinah It's easy to panic when something doesn't go right, but taking a step back to refocus helps.

Yeah, I need to relax for me to think what should I do. fortunately, I was able to manage all of them, but my ENT sched was rescheduled so i need to wait again.

You must be the hardest working person in that office!

That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially since you took the time to plan everything ahead of time. When you're the only person handling a division, your schedule isn't just a suggestion t’s what keeps everything moving smoothly.
