Made McGriddle Casserole and caught up on some laundry

I tried the McGriddle casserole I had been seeing online. It was good and much more filling than I originally thought it would be. My son really enjoyed it. At first, he gave me a look, thinking I had made something with stuffing, but suddenly realized what it was. He hates stuffing. He would have tried it; we've come a long way from the child who would literally starve himself before eating something he didn't like, but he would not have been happy. My husband has it in the fridge for his dinner at work tomorrow. I need to pull some meat so I can make dinner later in the week. It has been kind of a quiet day here. I was going to clean more, but I have been trying to catch up on laundry and just didn't feel like it. I knew it was time for laundry when my son and I were pulling out some very random clothes to wear. My husband does his own laundry because he refuses to put it where it goes, and I refuse to hunt down his clothes. He said it was a fair arrangement. He knows I'll do it if he puts it where it goes. I wash some of his stuff with ours if it makes its way to one of the hampers. I will also switch and fold his laundry if he starts it sometimes, if he asks. A lot of the time, he doesn't tell me he has started it. I managed to get three loads of laundry done and have about seven or eight more to go. I don't usually let it get this piled up, but we have been extremely busy, and I've just been doing enough to get us through. I usually use summer to catch up on things. I'm hoping to be caught up on laundry by the end of the week. I'd love to do a deep clean, but right now I think it's time I settle for just catching up on stuff I let fall behind due to work and a bunch of stuff happening around here.

That’s an awful lot of laundry, girl. But, I identify with times you just get behind. I’m glad to hear your husband at least does his own laundry.

It is. I'm over here swearing to not let it get this behind again. To be fair out washer will only hold so much laundry so it's partly due to smaller loads. I can't get to the laundromat to do bigger loads and when I'm working I barely have time to do one load on top of making dinner and showering because we get home around 6 and I get up at 4 AM so I have a small window of time to do everything I have to do.

@sissy15 You don’t have to explain anything. You’re a busy lady!

@AmbiePam I usually am, but I'm actually not during the summer, although I'm so mentally overloaded during the school year I usually enjoy a few weeks of laziness before I start doing stuff. The time has officially come, though, that I have to get it all together and get working lol. I'm currently debating if I should actually start cleaning or enjoy a few more minutes of relaxation.

Mcgriddle casserole conjured up all kinds of thoughts in my mind so I had to look it up. It sounds like you enjoyed it.

That's fair lol. I would have had some interesting thoughts had I not seen the video before hearing what it was. My son really liked it. I liked it, but I wouldn't put it down as a favorite. It made the house smell good, though. My husband came home from work and was like, "It smells like a McGriddle in here". It still smells like a McGriddle and has been several hours.
