Memories From My Childhood

From about the time, I was a toddler until school age my mother and I lived at my maternal grandparents. I remember many a day where the heat would get up there probably about in the early to mid 80s during the day. Then there would be a cloud burst, and a good rain would follow. I can remember watching the lightning flash out the window in the back door. Later my grandmother would turn on the hose and water the flower beds around the house and that would bring down the humidity that was left and bring the temp down quite a bit more. I wish we had a hose here and I could do that. It gets so hot from about 3p. until 8p. most days that it feels like I am setting in front of an open oven. Ugh!
Oh, for the good ole days. I try to keep my mind focused on Halloween and the chilliness of October. That's only 4 months away.
