It's just as well that the England football team won against Croatia at the World Cup tonight
An interesting article I read suggested that instances of domestic violence spiked when England lost a game of football compared to when they won a game of football
I haven't really ever wanted to see England win a game of football - but you know what,
Maybe I do, if only the domestic abuse didn't rise even when they win
And it does
Research shows incidents of domestic violence rise around major football tournaments, jumping by 38% when England lose and by 26% when they win.

That's interesting, I never knew of sports mattering so much that it causes abuse.

It can cause wars.
And sadly some people in England colours take it too seriously and women and kids get hurt
