Yesterday was my Mom's birthday. She would have been 82.
I lost Mom to bladder cancer that had gone to her lungs in 2017.
I don't start bawling or anything, but I do feel sad. I really miss my Mom.
Mom was born on June 18th, 1944, and while Father's Day hadn't been officially a holiday then, Mom told me that she was my grandfather's Father's Day present.
Photo was taken on Mom's birthday, 2017. Her hair had really thinned from chemotherapy.
I sure miss you, Mom.

She lived a long life, even if it doesn't feel like it to you. It's good that you still remember her.

@xstitcher Yeah, I know. Especially when it comes to our parents, we never feel like we've had enough time with them.

It definitely doesn't feel like it to me.

Thank you. Her hair before the chemo was grey with dark brown underneath. I used to enjoy braiding it.

She must have been a wonderful mother. I know it can be very difficult to lose people in our lives that mean so much to us.
