I was sitting at my computer and I heard a noise on the front porch. I looked out the window and didn't see anything. There was no wind to speak of but small leaves were falling down in front of the window. I looked up and there was a bird tail sticking out from the gutter, leaves were flying out of the gutter. I realized that the Mockingbird was up in the gutter throwing leaves out of the gutter looking for, I guess, bugs or worms, or whatever they eat. He was going to town throwing out the leaves. Tom said to tell him he is hired. His pay is whatever he finds up there. It rained most of the afternoon...not a hard rain, just a lite rain. We had leftovers for supper.
