Free doughnut for The Mister for Father’s Day …..

So our local supermarket have a promotion on today and tomorrow where Dads get a free doughnut.
This is for Fathers Day tomorrow.
The Mister and I went to get some cider which was on special offer so we popped into the cafe and got the free doughnut.
It is the sort with jam in the middle.
That’s my favourite , which is lucky as I shall get to eat it as The Mister doesn’t eat cakes ….

Thats nice you are eating his fathers day donut. Jam donuts are my favourite too! Every one who knows me know. One year my daughter & son in law gave me a pyramid of Jam Donts instead of getting a birthday cake. We all laughed when they brought it into the room!

I’ve never seen a pyramid of doughnuts ……
Well, The Mister doesn’t do anything cakey ….and we wouldn’t want it to go to waste …..

Jelly donuts are also my favorite. Once in a while, I'll get one with apple jelly in the center but usually have a donut with raspberry jelly in the center of it.
Are you getting anything for your hubby for Father's Day this year? (Pretty never buys stuff for me. Either I buy something for myself, or I don't get anything.

@Traceyjayne I don't like cream with jelly in a donut. Pretty eats cream donuts. I think they're called Boston Cremes... I bit into one by accident and spit it right back out!

I’ve never seen an apple one …oh, wait ……they do a long one , like a hot dog roll , but doughnut …..and where the sausage would be they sometimes have apple and cream…. Otherwise it’s raspberry hame and cream.
Daughter is supposed to be taking us out for a late tea …..
