An Update on the Medication Change

You will remember that back in March my new doctor gave me a new medication for Sleep Apnea to keep me from daytime drowsiness. It was for “ wakefulness”
That medication was working well but the doctor increased the dosage on June 8th. That hasn’t gone well. Apparently more isn’t always better.
I had the exact opposite effect. It was making me sleepy. I yawned all day long. It’s called a paradoxical effect
So Thursday I left a voicemail for the doctor letting him know how the increased dosage was affecting me. I didn’t hear back from him but a couple of hours ago I got a notification from my pharmacy that he called me in a new fill for the prior lower dose
I’m impressed that the doctor was retrieving his voicemails and working over the weekend
I think I’ll be fine now

Just now
First time I've heard about paradoxical effect.
Good that the doctor prescribed a lower dosage. That should work for you.

Wish that happened here
Glad that you got the dosage sorted out
