Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
Can you believe how far into June we are already? Soon it'll be the 4th of July, and then before we know it the summer will be over.
Earlier I did share a photo for my main photo series, so I didn't want to share another one of those yet. Eventually I will start sharing my food and stuff again because after the 4th of July I do need to get back on low carb, maybe even carnivore. Just know I won't stick to it until after then for sure.
Anyways, tonight I wanted to share one of my older art designs since I haven't share any in a while. I know, I need to get back to making some fresh ones.
However, in the meantime, I would love to know what you all think of this one.
I made this in a program that is like Photoshop, but free.
I know it is more of a simple piece, but sometimes too much can make a design feel chaotic.
Anything else you would like to know about the design, feel free to ask

That's stunning! I love the silhouette artwork with the colored backgrounds.
I'd really love to learn how to do digital design, since I think I can manage a simple drawing. However, I don't know where to start. What app or program would you recommend for a beginner like me?
By the way, I heard Photoshop is no longer free. If I buy it and end up not using it, will it be worth the purchase?

Glad you like it. All of my older work is in this silhouette style.
I didn't know Photoshop was ever free lol. The program I used called GIMP is free though and a lot like Photoshop. I don't know about the newer versions of the program as I still use one from over 10 years ago. I'd say try GIMP before even buying Photoshop.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thank you so much. Sounds great to me, and I'll give it a try! I think I've already found the program you talked about. If it's okay with you, I'd love to see more of your art in the future. I need more inspiration while learning.

@MommyOfEli2013 That works really well for me. You brought up a very good point by recommending YouTube tutorials. I'll also be sure to check out your older stuff for more design inspiration.

I love your art piece. You're right about June. It's quickly coming to a close.

Glad you like the art. Yes it's going too fast. Before we know it it'll be August and summer break will be over

Well glad you like that about it, thank you. I have some that are way less simple...but sometimes simple is better.

It's nice. I like it. Do you sell your artwork online?
Since I have no expertise in art, I can't really advise you.

I would if anyone would buy it, but never got that kind of interest in it before.
