Spring Hill Fire Department which is located in Tennessee (SHFD) was dispatched on Thursday when someone reported seeing a dog that was inside an auto that was closed from the outside. SHFD Captain Scott Frost led the firefighters to use a device to open the locked door called "The Big Easy" to unlock the door and save the dog from passing away from the heat inside of the auto. The Big Easy is a long pole with a hook at the end of it to wedge it into the door frame to create enough space to slide the hook pole into the auto. The tool is then used to push or pull the handle to open the door. Captain Frost believes the owner of the dog was in a hurry and kept the dog inside the auto by accident. Thank goodness that the dog is okay after the rescue mission was completed. Link is msn.com/en-us/news.us/...

That is true since closed parked autos outdoors are being inside of an oven.

Aw. Glad they got the dog out. People should know better than to do that.

I know what you mean since television public service announcements are begging people to take care of their pets and loved ones from being inside a locked auto.

I am in agreement with you since there are many public service announcements asking people to look around before closing the doors of their autos to make sure no human or animal are inside.
