I saw an old flame today …

I haven’t seen this guy in years …since we were 16 and left school.
The Mister bumped into him at the local shop last year ….he didn’t know he was an old flame of mine …..
Anyway, today we were at the local pub waiting for son to arrive for a Fathers Day drink , and he was sitting at a table about 10 feet away from us.
He came over to talk to us ….he has moved but still lives locally.
He has aged well and still looks great.
It was nice to see him and have a catch up …
Do you ever bump into an old flame ?

@traceyjayne Once, when visiting my wife in hospital after birth of child number 5. The scorned lady in question drew level with me in the corridor and snorted “Really, Fiacre, five?” In a very disparaging manner. I wanted to shout after her “It was over thirty years ago that I dumped you” but I refrained.

Two years ago I think. I know he lives just a few miles away and is married with four children. We had a very brief romance in 2002. I really fell for him and when he didn't feel the same way I was gutted. He wanted us to be friends but I couldn't face seeing him again for more than ten years. This time when we met I didn't feel anything, thankfully.

I was surprised that Rob lives so close to us …he is married with children now too ….not sure, maybe even Grandkids …it was nice to see him and we didn’t really mention the past …apart from he asked me if I was in touch with anyone else from school ….

I did last December at the mall. The last time I saw him was when I was 18 or 19.
I was surprised when he gave me a kiss on the cheek and we joked a bit. I introduced him to my son who was with me at that time.
He hasn't changed that much physically.

Not in years. Pretty and I rarely leave our house and, when we do, I usually don't go into places with her. I'm just the taxi driver.
