"A fish wouldn't get into trouble if it kept its mouth shut!"
I knew someone who is a "Ms. Know-it-all" and is a "Ms. have-it all!" And one time a little bird told me that her roommates got so annoyed of her that they ganged up on her.
They started talking about a non-existent designer bag and making sure she could hear it. And as expected, she butt in and said, "Oh, I have those bag in my house!" And they all looked at each other.
From then on, they just avoided her.

@toniganzon I suppose she could have been more careful, because if she’d realized they weren’t talking about a real brand, she could have avoided falling for the bait. The thing is, she’s not a know-it-all, just someone who wants to be involved in everything, even if she doesn’t actually know much about it.

@rsa101 She is a Ms. Know-it-all, because that person acts like they know it all but the truth is in psychology, it is a defense mechanism of their insecurity. They don't actually know it all, but they just act like they do. And that's exactly who she is.

These type of people could easily fall for such bait. They're foolish.

I did that to a woman I used to work with. I invented a make-believe band or something and she said, "Oh yeah, I've heard of them"
