The United States of America used to commit $400million for the control of HIV/AIDS in South Africa, over the years. The country has now decided to stop the funding blaming corruption and poor government policies in South Africa. Though , the stoppage has not been officially announced, it is expected to trigger a sharp increase in the number of HIV deaths in the coming years.

Why is it always the US that is expected to pay for everything other countries want? Other countries should pay for things for a while.

You remember how Trump exposed the democrats for using the USAIDs to fund terrorism in the guise of funding children education in Africa.

With the economic hardships the government is facing, committing funds to support other countries might not be possible. The handling and management of HIV/AIDS could be better managed by larger organizations like the UN, which is made up of several nations that can share resources if they have extra funding.

I have several things to say about this.
The first being, please do your research before you comment on something like this. You need to really know what is going on becuase you make a statemnt like this. Or comment on it.
The second thing, and I am going to say this while I hold your hand because I have a feeling it will be hard for you to hear.
It shouldn't be the united states responsibility to bail every other country out of thier messes. or pay for their programs. If they start a program they should be able to secure the right funding. I am sick of money that could be used for our American citizens to improve their lives, and instead it goes somewhere else.

Did you do your research on where the HIV virus originated from or you agreed with what researchers say? I didnt say it is the duty of USA to bail every country out of their mess, so dont get too emotional with posts like this.

The US government has decided to stop funding HIV programs in South Africa, which previously received about $400 million annually through the President's Emergency Fund for Aids Relief (Pepfar). This decision is linked to political tensions and allegations regarding South Africa's treatment of its white-minority Afrikaner community.
America should not be expected to find this anyway.
The South African Government should be doing more

Obviously South Africa is the epicenter of AIDS over the years but, ironically, it was a South African AIS patient that caught Covid and diluted it and created the omnicron variant, saving millions of lives. Isn't life strange.
