My hometown does not surprise me with stabbings, shootings, and people pushing others on subway tracks; unfortunately, in NYC this is what happens. I was born and raised there, and during my time it was not as often, so I felt all right.
What now has shocked me is that today a horse named Samson got spooked in Central Park taking an Indian family on a carriage ride, The tourist were a mom and dad, their 18 year old son and a younger son, The horse spooked and now the 18 year old son who was thrown from the carriage is dead. That left me speechless, Please put in a prayer for this family in their grief.

@wolfgirl569 I also feel sorry for that poor horse and wonder what spooked the poor animal.

@RasmaSandra Sometimes you can't find what set them off at all. And it could have got stung.

@wolfgirl569 you have an idea there but then imagine this happening once in a lifetime and the poor guy getting killed because it has not happened in this way before.

@AmbiePam I can tell you it is a real shocker. This if I am correct is a first and I even feel sorry for that poor horse wondering what spooked him,
