Hey Golden Girls fans!

I was scrolling through shows on Disney/Hulu because the episode of The Simpsons we were watching is over. That's when I found something called The Golden Palace. I saw Betty White's face on the title card so I clicked play. ... ...and made a stunning discovery.. @porwest, @tammys85 @AmbiePam This is nto a drill, there is a Golden Girls spin off show. It only lasted one season but it appears to be where they sold the house and have moved into a hotel that they plan to run. Possibly in California, or Miami, I have not paid as much attention as I should of. But anyway....LOOK

The first time I heard about this spinoff I couldn’t believe it existed. Lifetime network had had such luck with The Golden Girls they picked up the rights to the spin-off. I mean, Don Cheadle? I thought it was so cool. It’s time more people knew!

The two episodes that I watched were very good! And Cheech as the chef is amazing. I am going to have to make Chris watch it. He was half awake when I found it

I think I do recall that. Sometimes shows can run longer in a spinoff or major change. But it's rare. It's like when the Conner's won the lottery. The show lost its edge and relatability. On the other hand, when Laverne and Shirley moved to, I think it was Los Angeles from Milwaukee, it didn't immediately ruin the show.
