Saw my cancer doctor today. They signed my application for Disabled Parking Permit, and I went to the DMV and got my Placards. Went to Walmart and found a handicapped parking space! YAAAY! The doctor explained the treatments I will be getting. One is to raise my Immunity, and the other 2 are to slow down and stop the tumor. The paperwork doesn't say Chemo, and they said though it is a form of Chemo, it is not as bad as Chemo used to be. And they can regulate it. Not looking forward to is, but if it decreases the tumor, then they might be able to take it out with surgery in the future. One of the treatments is Keytruda. I have seen ads on TV about that and sounds good. I asked Tom if he would still love me if I was bald...he said Of COURSE, but He would get me a wig if I wanted it. My treatments start July 7th. So I can enjoy the 4th! We had Tuna Fish Sandwiches for supper. I was exhausted from all the walking I had to do today. But really glad I finally got my Handicapped Parking Placards.

I hope the treatments work without too many side effects. They have an agreement with one place here where you can get one free wig.

I’m sure you’ll be a beautiful bald lady. Oddly, my aunt had chemo when she had colon cancer, and she never lost her hair. She had even gone out and bought three wigs.

I hope that I won't either, but haven't even started and I'm losing hair.

That's great news about the parking permit! It may seem like a small thing, but having those closer parking spaces can make a big difference. I'm glad your doctors have a treatment plan in place, and it's nice that you'll get to enjoy the 4th before everything starts. Also, Tom's answer was exactly the right one. Wishing you all the best with your treatments on July 7th

It would be a bit relieving to have some strategies in place now after all the uncertainty.
