Good morning on this frying Friday / Cooling towels …..are they any good ? / myLot

So, the heat continues ….. It’s way too hot for me ….i do not cope well with too much heat ….. I had the fan on almost all night … I was hoping it was going to be cooler for the weekend, but I fear that is not going to happen ….. Any good tips for keeping cool in this hot weather ….. Oh, and …..does anyone have a cooling towel…..you wet it and shake it and it stays cold for several hours …..i keep seeing them advertised on the internet but would like to know if anyone recommends them ….. Thank you x

I had one. I wouldn’t wax poetic about it, but it was better than nothing. I bought it at an actual store though so I don’t know if it is exactly what is being sold online. I put it around my neck when I went outside or on the occasion I’d go to my sister’s house in summer. Her house is always burning hot.

I have never used them before even though it's blazing here almost throughout the year. I think you will find them useful

I bought my sister a scarf affair that was supposed to be cooling. I don't know if she ever used it.
