Oh Tropical Heaven and Hell

They say the summer is like heaven with the days lazy and slow. But when the heat and humidity break the temperature barrier, it certainly can be like hell. So where is the respite? They tell me online there is a mean-sounding hombre, like from Mexico; his name is El Niño. He is going to create some weather surprises that no one will forget. Suddenly I wish, oh how I wish, I were walking toward a cabin through ankle-deep snow with a polar bear pal by my side. Then into the cabin I would go to sit by a roaring fire in the fireplace, and my polar bear pal could pretend to be a bear rug on the hearth.
Remember Nat King Cole and The Lazy Hazy Days of Summer? Let’s all sing what else can we do?

@AmbiePam I always enjoyed it a lot. Lately I have gotten used to watching the X Factor, and America and Britian Go Talent funny takes where people failed at doing anything and it has provided good amusement in the evenings.

Trust me it was like a wall of heat, now it's not near as bad.

I remember the song sung by the late Nat "King" Cole since my late mom loved his music.

Just now
That's a great song. I haven't heard it in, like, forever.

After a few days of ankle-deep snow, you might be wishing for summer again. And don't forget El Niño's not-so-cute sister, La Niña.
