Since Tom had an appointment at his doctor, I asked a friend to drop me off at my appt. since where I had to park was quite a walk to the door. Barbra came and picked me up. My left side (thinking Kidney) was hurting really bad. But didn't want to miss this Lung Test. Got into the test area, and laid down on the table thing that moves you into the tube. My Vertigo came with a Vengence. Haven't had that much spinning going on since January when I was in the hospital. I got up and stared at the wall to calm it down. It worked, but still a little dizzy. They gave me extra pillows. What a JOKE..Hospital pillows are not REAL pillows. So much plastic they slid off each other as I laid down, BUT..it DID calm down the Vertigo. Got through the 10 min test. They put me in a wheel chair and took me to the entrance where Barbra was to pick me up. After sitting a few minutes there on the bench, I calmed down a LOT. I made it to the car. She helped me in and then out of the car at the house. I called the GP and his office called in a script for my Kidney infection. I finally got some relief. Still hurts, but getting better. Hoping I will be over it before the 7th of July when I start my treatments. So Glad I did not have to go to the ER. My GP's office help are awesome. I called to get an appointment for maybe Monday, but they offered to talk to the doctor and call in a script. I still set up an appointment for Tuesday just to make sure it was okay and didn't need more medicine. But so happy to get some relief from that pain in my side. With it being my Kidney, I knew I couldn't take Ibprofen..I DID take a couple of Tylenol, but it never gives much relief for me. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
