I miss TCM. (Turner Classic Movies). It's pretty much gone now. I wish I had the money and I would buy it and keep all those movies restored and taken care of. Those old vintage movies are wonderful. One of the entertainers I always enjoyed was Jimmy Durante. He was a piano player and comedian. He's seen on old TV variety shows and in some old movies. He was famous for his big nose. He'd shake his head while playing and say:" Ha, Cha Cha, Cha!" He was so ridiculed when he was young and in school that he would come home and cry. But it never imbittered him and when he was able to afford it, he didn't get nose surgery. At one point before he became successful, he spent some time in Calabash, North Carolina. A cafe owner took him in and fed him. This kindness became a part of his show. He would end his performance with ......." Goodnight Mrs., Calabash wherever you are!"
