Would you confront someone who has said bad things about you …?

There is a story in a debate programme on tv at the moment, about two ‘ celebrities ‘…..celeb A said something not very nice about celeb B, who then found out about it. Celeb B was not happy and felt it was just an opinion that should have been kept private …..not told to the media …. This week celeb A and celeb B have been at an event ….they were sitting in front / behind each other …. It looked awkward ….. Nothing was said to the other ….. Question of the day ….. Would you confront someone who has said something bad about you ? Would you hope an apology would be offered ?
