It Suddenly Started Raining Heavily / myLot

Since morning till now there was no signs of rain. It was sunny, dry and hot. Now it is night.Time is 11.05 p.m. We didn't heard any thunder. There was no lightening either. The sky was dark black at night and we couldn't see the black clouds covering the sky. Just now it suddenly started raining heavily. I can hear the sound of rain coming from outside. It's raining very heavily.

Thank you. Yes, it is monsoon time. But the monsoon has stuck somewhere on its way. We had expected heavy rain this year, but that doesn't seem to happen. Today also the weather is cloudy. Let me see what happens by evening

@Shivram59 Where would the monsoon have stuck? Isn't it more likely that global warming and climate change have just made the season's a wee bit different

Weather can be that way. Gives you no sign , them boom, it starts pouring rain. Weather is unpredictable

Thank you. You are right. The weather this year is unpredictable. We had expected heavy rains this year, but the monsoon is stucked somewhere on its way. It is heavily cloudy and gloomy here. It's not raining now, but I can hear thunders. It may rain by evening.

We had tremendous amount of rain last week. So much so we had a lot of flooding where I live. My own place of residence was fine though.

Thank you. We in this area haven't had much rain this year. The monsoon has set in around 15 th of June. We have a heavily cloudy and gloomy weather now. I have heard thunders. I'm waiting what happens by the evening.
