FIFA Worldcup 2026 is now full of surprises - mostly the underdogs have shocked their opponents and made the game tough and thoroughly enjoyable. Germany, Netherlands, Sweden are all knocked out.
Whom are you supporting, if your nation isn't playing or couldn't make it to the next level?

Well Scotland didn't make it through the group stage.
So I think I want France to win it, or Brazil or Morocco

@Ineeddentures Japan played well this time, but luck wasn't on their side....Morocco has been a surprise package this time

Morocco, having given it more thought I would like to see an African team win

Well, obviously I’d like America to win, but that ain’t happening. Americans are big on believing anything can happen, but I’d like to think my common sense is intact. Everybody on my sports shows say France is going to win. I hope not. I’m not a France fan.
If America can’t win, I wouldn’t mind seeing England win. I’ve gotten endeared to some Brits who have taken videos on how much they’ve loved being in America. Of course, the Dutch, Scottish, Japanese, Swedes, and Germans have too (and one funny South African who couldn’t believe how much safer our alleys are than theirs) have done videos too, but if we can’t win, I’m going for England.
*I don’t care how cool the South African thought our alleys were; don’t go down them at night.
