My bad experience at the electricity company

..talk about a major bruh moment..I hate talking about this moments ...I went to top up my electricity card, but when I got home, it didn’t reflect at all. It was super annoying..I took a cab back to the electricity company to complain..I was told that the payment failed right after I left. The guy at the office had already filled out a form on my behalf, but put his own contact info on it... He used my electricity card to locate the correct form from the pile, asked for my phone number, and said they would call me when the refund is ready...still had to pay for another recharge. Now I'm left waiting for that callback to get my refund...a bird told me that the refund might take up to a month.. Has any of you dealt with this kind of trifling service before?

Probably not that bad. Do you think your payment really failed, or did they make that up to use your money? Why would it fail?

You just load the card at the electricity company and load it on your meter at home. The unit you load is rated in kwh

It's annoying when this happens. I hate having to make extra trips through someone else's incompetence.

I never had any problems with my power comp but I stay on top of my bills where I never have to deal with them.

I really hope you do not have to wait a month for your own mo eye back due to something you had no control over. I haven't experienced anything like that I top up our electric and gas online and it is uploaded to our smart meter straight away I would be annoyed if I was in your shoes
