Do You Use A Sun Shade on Your Car’s Windshield?

I have a collapsible metallic reflective sun shade that I keep in my car for the hot summer days. I used to use one all the time when I worked in an office and was parked outside in the sun all day I read that “ On an 80-degree day, your car could heat up to 109 degrees Fahrenheit in just 20 minutes. After an hour, your car's interior can reach a deadly 123 degrees.” It can make a considerable temperature difference in your car keeping it from feeling like a blast oven Do you use one?

When I was younger and drove a car without a/c, I used one, but these days with a/c and cooled steering wheel and seats, and a garage to keep the car out of the sun, we do not use one.

I have one but don't have to use it often. At home, the car is in the garage, when I take son to all of his stuff, it's in the hospital parking tower. My alternate there is a park behind the hospital, that I can sit in the car and wait if I need to and if the parking tower is full. Usually the only time I use it is for a grocery trip. They not only help with heat, they help to keep your car interior from fading.

I do, and you must have read my mind. I was thinking of starting a discussion on this topic.
