England and Belgium somehow came back after conceding goals / myLot

From the time Germany and Netherlands messed up in their knockout matches and got exit from world cup soccer, every match of European teams are facing upsets. England was losing against Congo DR for more than 75 minutes before Harry Kane scored 2 goals to restore pride. There was a deliberate penalty for England which referree did not give. Belgium were losing 2 goals to nil against Senegal and finally won the match at extra time with 3 goals to 2. France, Spain, Portugal should be very careful. This world cup has been a success story of Latin American teams like Mexico, Argentina, Columbia and failure of European teams.

I felt sorry for the Democratic Republic of Congo. As much as I was rooting for England because of the Mylot Brits, I started to feel hopeful for the other team. It must have hurt to lose when they were so close. I’m just glad the United States also won. We won’t go much farther, but it’s been a nice run.

@AmbiePam another important observation is that the Latin American teams have better goalkeepers than the European teams. I love the performance of Cape Verde team goalkeeper

My boys, England, are nota great side but have two world class players keeping them alive .Holland were not favourites against an excellent Morrison side. Germany are in steady decline.
