It appeared like referee tried to favour Portugal over Croatia

Portugal somehow won the knockout match against Croatia. Croatia struck first with the goal of Perisic. Ronaldo scored from penalty and Ramos scored 2nd goal.The result was 2 goals is to 1. But technically it appeared the referee favoured Portugal. 2 goals of Croatia were considered offside in borderline cases also. There is an outside support for the popularity of Ronaldo. Looking by the poor defense of Portugal it appears that Spain will defeat them in round of 16.

Interesting. I have not been following. Refs should not be biased. I'll have to watch the replays.

thanks The Horse, just because the world cup is hosted in North America and South America, referees are favouring the Latin American teams more than the others.
