The more I get why people don't listen to the news the more
It blows my mind of what I hear that a lot of people are missing.
I got to say, I get why people don't listen to a lot of news, there
was a few years back that's all I did listen to, Till I got sick &
was in the hosp for 6 mons & had my life hanging in the air.
After I got my self back in shape & my health back on track
I focused on other things that was going on in my life & got
away from the news a few yrs & more focused on my health.
Well now I don't really make it a must do thing as I use to
but every now & then I do listen to the news & it was very
disturbing to hear what I heard, but then again maybe not.
Like the title says "WHO WOULD SUPPORT THIS ?"
This is more than insulting, it's down right mind boggling
it's slap down right insane, twisted, degusting, & sick.

One thing to remember is the "bad news bias". The news knows that they will get more engagement if they report things that are shocking and unusual, which gives people the impression that things generally ARE shocking and unusual. Just remember, if something is normal, it wouldn't be on the news, so bad things happening are not normal.

@2ndchances24 actually, people are much kinder than they used to be. We used to have slavery! It was widely accepted that people could own other people and could assault, torture, and even kill them with no consequences. Slaves had no rights at all. That went on for over 200 years in this country. Now it's unthinkable. We had to fight a war just to give people their freedom.
Women were similarly seen almost as property. We couldn't own land, we couldn't hold office, and we couldn't even vote until just over 100 years ago. Now women can own homes, have their own bank accounts and credit cards, and run companies. Life IS better.

@AliCanary Life isn't better when you are a victim of such
criminals as this, it damages your whole life.

That's not even normal, people have turned into monsters
no wonder God is reeking havoc on this earth & the people
in it, with hurricanes, floods, heat waves, tornados, fires.

They have the freedom that lets them do it, but I would not. Of course this is a very small action, but it is being blown up in the feeds for the reaction.

It's not about that, it's how can people live with themselves
& go through life like this is no big deal when it's not right ?
if people would put things like this into their lives Things would
be a lot different. . . like if he rapped your family member, your
mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, nephew, how would
that make you feel? like oh well that's life ?

I get what you're saying, there's more important things to do
than to be bothered with what is going on in the world, just
not your world.
