Feel Like I am in a War Zone

Our neighborhood is really unlike any other one in the area. Lots of Patriotic people. They have their own little get together. And I think everyone around us had Fireworks. A few were starteling. Last year was pretty loud, but THIS year..OMG! Our day started out with Tom's truck not wanting to run. Sooo I drove my van very carefully. Motor mounts about to go along with brakes. Still looking for another vehicle. We made it there and back. They had hotdogs, hamburgers with all the fixin's, potato salad, Strawberry tarts, apple pie, chips and dip, and of course watermelon cut into bite size pieces. Enjoyed the food, fellowship, and we played Bingo. NO...did not win, but the dude who came and trimmed our bushes won the coverall of $250. Came home, and a while later Tom fell in the garage, and somehow bent the back wheel of my walker that I sit on out there. He finally got up into his seat. A little TOO Much Jack Daniels. Hopefully he will be in good enough shape to work on his truck. He says it is probably the fuel filter or pump. He had trouble with the fuel pump when he first got the truck. He finally put a hole in the bed of the truck so he wouldn't have to drain the gas tank. So it will be easy to replace. I can sit on my walker, but I have to stay still..can't move it while I am on it like I normally do. So what did everyone do for the 4th? Our City Fireworks was cancelled because the barge out in the bay caught fire and let off all the fireworks on it all at once. I guess they have a back up as I see where they will have them tomorrow night.
