Finally We Had Rain / myLot

After five consecutive hot and cloudy days it finally rained last night. For five days the sky had been heavily clouded. It looked as if the clouds were promising heavy rain. But all the "promises" came to be hollow and ended up delivering nothing except intense heat. Yesterday was also cloudy, but we were not expecting rain. But in the evening the sky turned gloomy, and it started raining heavily. It rained whole night. Today we woke up to a rainy morning. It is night now, but drizzling is continuing. The temperature has drastically fallen and we are feeling a little cold.

Glad you were able to get some rain and things had cooled off. Weather is unpredictable..you never know what's gonna happen next

Thanks, my friend. It was not " some" rain, it was a heavy downpour. Within minutes there was water all around on the roads.

I would love to have cooler weather. It is way too hot and humid, and my electricity went off after a terrible storm on the night of the Fourth. It’s nice to hear you got rain though; it must have felt so great.

Thank you, my friend. Here also power supply has suddenly become inconsistent. Electric supply gets interrupted from time to time. The reasons are unknown. But we have inverter. Yesterday we had a heavy downpour.

When you need rain it is so disheartening to see the clouds appear... and then disappear again. Glad some came at last.

Thank you. This year it has happened to us many times. They say it is because of Al Nino. I don't know what Al Nino exactly is. However we had a very heavy downpour yesterday.
