Do you or have you ever used Craigslist?

People get the impression Craigslist is dangerous, and it makes sense to take precautions, but I have bought two cars and two riding lawn mowers on Craigslist. No issues whatsoever, and in the case of the mowers they were delivered to me. You can usually get a feel for who you are dealing with on there. Of course it is helpful to have someone with you if you are meeting someone. I may be getting a golf cart on there or FB marketplace at some point, but son will probably take care of that. He buys and sells on there all the time.

I don't even know for sure if Craigslist exists here.
I know that FB marketplace does, but I do FB.
We do have kijiji and I have bought and sold on that site.
When we used to have a car to sell or a riding lawnmower, we would just park it out near the end of the driveway and we wouldn't even have to put a for sale sign in it, and people would stop in or if they knew us they'd call.

I usually use it for big ticket items. People sell concert and sports tickets though. All kinds of things.

I've never even been on that website and don't know what it looks like. I've heard scary things about people meeting up on there (dating)

Common sense precautions will take you a long way with any of that stuff. I wouldn't recommend dating on it, but other things I think are fine.

Nothing dangerous about Craiglist at all
Haven't used it for years but it was always better than Gumtree or FB

CL is fine here if it still exists lol
