A volunteer in Fresno County California alerted the California Highway Patrol (CHP) about seeing a truck that was located about 20 miles from Pine Flat Lake.
The missing man was 70 year old Rondy Packard Senior who was reported missing by his relatives since June 28 after he failed to come home from a fishing trip.
The CHP sent a helicopter to rescue Rondy by the use of first responders of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) to use a helicopter to hoist him from the rugged terrain to receive medical treatment after going missing for six days.
The good news is that Rondy did not suffer any major injuries. Rondy is expected to make a full recovery after being rescued.

Rondy went missing for at least six days before he was rescued. I also hope he is in good condition after he was rescued by the police,

You are right since Rondy is not a spring chicken anymore.

Rondy took a big risk by going on a trip alone. I'm glad he will be OK.

That is true since it is better to travel in an open area with an assistant.
