I broke down...

...and bought some new scissors. I can't find some of the ones I had, and they all (including the ones I was trying to use making another yarn doll) are super dull. So, this was a good investment--though now I realize that I need to get some "paper" scissors too, as the set I bought was all for fabric and the like. At least I was able to get these at a discount. Then I realized (DUH) that these are fabric scissors, which I shouldn't use on paper, so I looked up "paper scissors" and saw a good deal on a set of them at a place in the shopping center across the street. So, I know what I'll be doing tomorrow in the morning. Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

I did enjoy my day working at home sharing news stories and completing surveys.

That sounds like a worthwhile purchase. A good pair of sharp scissors can make such a difference, especially when you're working on crafts. Dull scissors can turn a fun project into a frustrating one.

I misplace my scissors all the time. I am ridiculous.

I've misplaced them, but on top of that every pair I have is so old they're terribly dull.

I have pairs of scissors I specifically use for crocheting and I have scissors for cutting wrapping paper when making a bouquet of crocheted flowers.
